CNG

CNG is a relatively cost-effective distribution system when we are dealing with semi-long distances, small to midsize customers who are relatively spread out. It has also proven to be a good solution for situations where reticulated LPG system has been changed into a natural gas distribution system.

CNG is supplied by trailers to smaller receiving terminals and converted into low-pressure gas (pressure reduction of up to 300 bar and down to 4 bar gauge), before being further distributed to customers.

Gorter Controls has designed equipment to reduce the pressure from 300 bar to 4 bar in a single stage procedure while maintaining high accuracy. Thus, the pressure reduction systems can be designed in a more economical and reliable way.
